An artist from a young age, Leah has explored a variety of disciplines, from classical art to metalwork to digital media. After receiving a Bachelor in Architecture from the University of Miami, she worked as an architectural renderer for several firms, including Michael Graves & Associates. She later received an MA in Social Design from The Maryland Institute College of Art.

Leah is most interested in public space and all of the interactions, people-watching, sitting still and passing-through that occurs in them. Her work explores ways of making every day environments and activities more eventful and interesting through added visual or interactive elements.

Originally from Florida’s Gulf Coast, Leah is now based in NYC. Her work has been featured in Site95’s “Transforming New York Street Objects,” FIGMENT Festival NYC, and the Art in Odd Places public art festival. Her most recent project, “Complimentary” garnered local and international media attention and will be on display at the Hudson River Museum in February 2015.
